Research relating to the right to justice for victims of human trafficking of a minor

The purpose of this qualitative research is to provide specific information with regard to the practices and procedures for the participation of children in criminal proceedings (as a victim or a witness), leading to an overview that will help you to evaluate the way in which the Romanian apply to the european guidelines on child-friendly justice, in particular with regard to the reach, quality, impact, and best practices for the hearing, which involves the trafficking of minors.

The professionals in the system of justice have been asked to provide information on the practices, experiences, evaluations, and suggestions for improvement with regard to the manner in which the victims of the trafficking of minors taking part in practice in the legal proceedings.

The professionals who participated in this research were (1) the professionals (judges, prosecutors, officials and personnel of the courts, the lawyers, or lawyers), and (2) other professionals who provide social services and support (staff, organisations, victim support, or other non-governmental organizations, artists, trained professionals, such as psychologists or social workers, who can also be your personal non-governmental organisations).

The report also includes the results of the research as well as recommendations for the amendment of the legal framework in the area of access to justice for victims of trafficking.
